1927 Tombow is founded in Japan as a manufacturer of pencils. 1979 Tombow Pen & Pencil GmbH is founded in Cologne as a sales office for the European market. 1984 The Dual Brush Pen is presented to the public for the first time. Tombow skin pens Dual Brush pens are odourless, non-toxic, water-based paints that can be mixed with each other and have a flexible and a fine (0.8mm) brush tip. They are suitable, for example, for drawing stencils directly on the skin.
